Shadow on the Sun Tarot

A 79-Card Deck & Guidebook

A multidimensional tarot system to guide your inner transformation

• Integrates astrology, runes, I Ching hexagrams, chakras, and planetary energetics to support multidimensional readings
• Presents a 79-card upright-only system that eliminates reversals and adds a wildcard
• Offers structured daily spreads, activation steps, and practices to transform daily readings into a focused tool for self-development

While the Tarot has long served as a tool for divination, Shadow on the Sun Tarot focuses on providing a system to actualize your inner transformation. AION organizes the Major Arcana into Transition, Initiation, and Mastery phases, allowing you to track where you are in your cycle of descent, transformation, and integration. The Minor Arcana changes into four reimagined suits—Cinders (Fire), Stones (Earth), Ashes (Air), and Mirrors (Water)—each aligned with will, worth, belief, and emotion. This 79-card deck features The Eclipse, a Major Arcana wildcard that acts as a reset device, signaling when a reading requires clearing before interpretation can proceed.

The author draws upon correspondences from diverse esoteric traditions to create a coherent framework. The deck has connections to astrological signs, planetary rulership, runes, I Ching hexagrams, and chakras. In practice, planetary rulership indicates timing—when an issue is likely to peak or resolve—while chakra associations reveal where it is held in the body. The rune offers insight into the underlying forces at play, and the I Ching hexagram suggests how the situation is likely to evolve. Together, these layers guide you toward clear and grounded action that emerges from each reading.

The author provides structured activation practices, morning and evening spreads, and methods for working with the deck beyond question-based readings, supporting you in cultivating a daily tarot practice. This deck will teach you methods for clearing interference, establishing alignment at the start and end of each day, and engaging each card as a structured invitation to recalibrate your perception and, in doing so, transform from within.
