Norwegian Woodcut Tarot

Norwegian Woodcut Tarot is the deck, where the heroes are Vikings, depicted through their everyday life, traditions, and way of living. They are surrounded by forests, mountains, and the sea. As you can see, each card is interwoven with Celtic knots and the structural elements of Scandinavian ornamentation.

Instead of the traditional chariot found in Tarot, a drakkar—a Viking ship and their main means of transport—is depicted. And the Devil is represented as the most terrifying monster of Scandinavian mythology—the serpent Jörmungandr.
