Beto Val's Oddments Tarot

Illustrated by internationally renowned Ecuadorian artist Beto Val, this tarot deck invites you into a wondrous place where curiosity is the primary instrument of discovery.

Arcane wonders abound in this enthralling collection of oddities. Through collage, Beto Val creates a world in which human, animal, and vegetal figures converge with classic tarot symbolism. Some cards will feel familiar, echoing archetypes and symbols that have traveled through myths for centuries. Others may feel strange or unexpected, like a specimen you've never encountered before.

That strangeness is what drives curiosity. Your mind wanders, questioning and imagining so many possibilities and hidden connections. The universe is woven together by these hidden connections-such as the spiral of a shell corresponding to the spiral of galaxies. Allowing your mind to be curious about them, to contemplate them with respect and awe, leads to amazing revelations.
