Long before the modern era, the völvas walked the earth as healers, seers, and weavers of destiny. Cissi Williams reclaims their tradition to offer a structured yet intuitive path back to the ancient feminine wisdom encoded in Norse mythology, the nervous system, and the ancestral DNA of every seeker.

Drawing on the Völuspá and Norse scholar Maria Kvilhaug, the author maps the soul’s journey through the cosmology of Yggdrasil as a living metaphor for the human nervous system. The deck’s 44 beautifully illustrated cards move through the four directions: West for awakening and healing; North for nourishment and receptivity; East for clarity and soul alignment; South for claiming one’s path, wisdom, and magic. The deck includes cards representing Freya, the Norns, Dark Mother Hel, and the She-Wolf, each offering somatic meditations, spoken incantations, and healing processes designed to dissolve fear, reclaim sovereignty, and actively weave a new destiny.

For seekers drawn to Norse tradition, shamanic practice, or the reclamation of feminine spiritual authority, this deck offers a grounded system for transformation that honors ancient wisdom and the lived experience of the modern practitioner.
